Item arrived on time and well packaged. While the instructions were clear, they were sparse, causing confusion and a few rebuilds. It was a little frustrating. We were missing a screw and got the wrong size for another. Luckily, these screws didn't spoil the overall design, and their absence doesn't cause any safety issues. After making some adjustments to these parts, we were able to create a satisfying cat posture that is stable. The reason it stopped removing stars was that I was expecting dodgy building instructions and was mostly annoyed with the wrong and missing parts (at least as it was). My cats, who are cats, were very interested in the construction and studied the perch for at least 10 minutes before realizing that the box it came in was still missing. Of course you are enthusiastic about the box. But during their brief study of the post, the post held up well and I expect the cats will be more interested in using it once the crates are removed.
