Review on 💻 GIGABYTE AERO 17 HDR XD - Ultimate 4K Creator Laptop with RTX 3070, Intel Core i7, and 1TB SSD by Joel Wright

I wanted to like this laptop. But unfortunately I can not - what is the reason? With all the viruses, trying to set it up to run consistently was impossible. No matter what I set or how I set it (e.g. font size because I'm visually impaired), it changes to something else on the next boot. Granted, that's part of the madness of Windows 10, but it's certainly not limited to that. Every day I have to spend half an hour or more to get the settings back to where I want them. It's getting old Very old. Very fast. There is no support to solve this problem, I get ready answers from Gigabyte which clearly shows that they don't even try to figure out how to solve the problem. For the price, it's just not good enough. My other laptop is MSI - while they deserve more credit than Gigabyte - they hardly stand out either, so after purchasing MSI I decided to give Gigabyte a try. Big mistake, I should have stuck with the devil I know. See, I'm not a chattering techno bum - with over 45 years of computer experience I know how to use a PC - but this problem just confuses me. I've never had a computer in my life reset itself to the settings it needs. I can promise I will never buy anything from Gigabyte again.
