It’s ridiculous how much joy this little journal bubbles up out of my heart. I have the bird patterned one and it is just as beautiful in person. It comes with thick brown, vintage-looking blank paper—the consistency similar to a brown paper bag which I would assume is wonderful for artists. However, I wanted lined paper for writing/journaling and thankfully, the company also sells packs of that same brown vintage paper with lines. It would be cool if they offered you a choice in lined or unlined paper, but in the end, I’m not upset about it. The journal is so (un)reasonably affordable (I would easily pay double) that I was happy to spend an extra $8 to get the lined paper I desired. Worth. Every. Penny.
