The gray color I ordered is nice, the fabric is soft and probably durable, but I wasn't aware that the filler was leftovers from what appears to be upholstery foam. If you sit in it, you can feel individual pieces of foam rubber - less on the back than on the pope. I know they're styrofoam because I opened up the seam a bit to see what it was because like I said, they weren't the beans you'd expect in a beanbag. I say foam is a waste because I think they probably buy it in bulk - some of the pieces are denser foam and some are softer, some of the scraps are 1 inch and some 4 inches, some triangular, some rectangular etc. there was even thin plastic that could be used to remove a CD or other packaging.
