Review on Acme Furniture 82818 Table Antique Furniture by Paula Mellgren

Our mission style bedroom set with bed, chest of drawers and bedside tables turned out to be too "matching" and square. We decided we needed something curved and off-white, and the nightstands were the easiest to replace. These tables are solid enough to fit on top of other furniture (subtly curved legs will do). While the countertops are larger than the square 3-drawer nightstands they replaced, the base makes them smaller overall. nice color; it is clearly aged but does not look battered. Assembly was very easy; There are only three parts to attach. The price is great - similar tables are $499 elsewhere, and some other sites have these exact same tables more than double the price. Round tables are really versatile; one day it will even be possible to cover them with a tablecloth. The outer box was destroyed, but the pieces are hidden in their own boxes and all came out intact. The base had a small scratch on the surface and there is another very small defect on the countertop. We plan to buy glass protective cases. I hope we don't miss a box seat (always expensive in Southern California), but it was a good excuse to clean things up. Highly recommended.
