Better than I thought! My daughter is almost 7...6t ordered and they fit her perfectly. She is quite petite, with a very thin waist... (I usually buy jeans and shorts 1-2 sizes smaller) I think after a wash they are in perfect condition! The tie is her favorite but I needed white for her snowman costume and blue for her holiday dance recital :)
