I picked it up hoping for better sound quality in a cheap and compact body. For the most part I got that. They sound great from my iPhone. When connected to a laptop, the picture is not so nice. Initially, the bass overwhelmed some of the mids and lost clarity, but this was remedied by resetting the Bass Boost setting, which seems to come into play on my laptop when I plug in my headphones, from 24% to 10%. Another problem is that the cable picks up too much noise when the laptop fan is on. I can fix this problem by connecting to a port on the docking station instead, but they don't work when I take my laptop with me. . Also, the protective grille on one of the headphones isn't fitted properly, so sooner or later I'm going to run into problems with dirt and sulfur getting into the driver. I'm returning mine and trying a different brand but will update the review when I come back to try a second pair. So, for TLDR pros: Good sound, decent isolation. The microphone is surprisingly good. Very cheap for what you get. had a small but significant assembly error.
