It keeps the wrist elevated

I'd say it's definitely comfortable, although I adjust the bead placement on the inside for comfort as intended. This is a good choice for those who experience pain while working or playing on a computer/laptop - same problem. It's a nice addition to my laptop if I could find something this comfortable on a laptop for my left hand.
