Workmanship is good, solid box for your valuable jewelry, albeit a bit heavy like wooden boxes. This would be a disadvantage if you're taking the box on a trip where weight is an issue. The container is also slightly larger than I would like, mostly the height which is more than 2 inches. It just takes up more space in a drawer or suitcase. Love love the many slots to store my rings and the bottom with compartments to store earrings and companion charms. This container is mainly for storing my jewelry at home. I would take a smaller set of items in a lighter case or bag(s) when traveling.
