Review on 🀱 Bamboobies Reusable Nursing Pads for Breastfeeding, Value Pack of 6 Regular Pairs – Washable Breast Pads by April Bee

Love it! Essential

My baby was born two weeks ago and as a newborn I had some trouble figuring out everything about breastfeeding. To put it bluntly: OH. Constant feedings are intense and have a very strong effect on "equipment". I am addicted to cool gel pads but unfortunately they cannot be worn all day and do not prevent leakage. For the first week I used disposable nursing pads to keep milk from seeping through my clothes. The most popular ones I've bought are basically like big, lumpy maxi pads that (try, but mostly fail) stick to your bra. I hate them. Not only did they look horrible, clumping and sticking together every time I pulled my nursing shirt down, they were so rough on my already sore nipples that I was afraid to put them in and decided I'd rather be leaking all over the place To do damage. more pain for yourself. I saw the Bamboobies and thought I could just copy the idea and cut absorbent fabric to use as a pad. A complete letdown - my homemade pads quickly got wet and looked ridiculous. Just get the Bamboobies - they are SO worth the money. These things are like magic - so soft and super thin, but impeccably airtight. As a bonus, the hearts are adorable, but they won't show through my tightest shirts, even under a thin, stretchy nursing bra. I also love that they are reusable and washable, so nursing pads are now one less item that I throw in the landfill every day. They also dry quickly. I consider them a must have and even managed to wear skinny ones to bed a couple of times with no problem. However, "going to bed" usually means about 2 hours of sleep these days, so I'll be sure to buy thicker ones for glorious days in the future when I can sleep a little longer. If you plan to breastfeed, do your chest and clothes a favor and have some Bamboobies handy.
