The juice box rocks! (According to my son)

My 9 year old son had a box of juice shortly after going out. Some of the negative comments sound like they come from the adults, rather than the children, to whom this article is directed. SIZE: The size of this item is perfect. It's big enough that a child doesn't have to squint to see what's on the screen, but small enough to slip into a pocket for a quick scooter ride. Multiple cartridges can also be tossed into a pocket or backpack without fear of damaging them. DURABILITY: His Juice Box has withstood a few pretty nasty falls and the unwanted attention of his two younger brothers. The only sacrifice was the flip-screen cover, which honestly could have stood up to the redesign. However, it didn't cause too much lost sleep. Cassettes stand up to rough handling (sticky fingers, drops, hitting the couch floor) much better than videodiscs. VIDEO QUALITY: While the video quality isn't the best, it's pretty good. To be honest, what 8-12 year old kid wants plasma TV quality (and who would expect that from a device this small?) They're thrilled to be able to watch their shows on their own terms. And unlike other video disc players, if you press the Juice Box while watching, you won't experience a few seconds of inactivity until the player recovers. I think most quality issues are due to the type of compression used on the cartridges and not screen issues. We bought the MP3/Picture Viewer and the pictures loaded onto the SD memory card look great. , phones, etc. This gives them the ability to take care of relatively complex electronics while mitigating the potential impact of falls and bumps.
