My hair goes just over my shoulders. It used to be very thick, but has thinned a bit with age. I love wearing it but I'm tired of the plastic clip look. I'm not smart with my hair so I was a bit cautious with this simple looking accessory. I watched a few YouTube videos before buying (I recommend these, the instructions on the box are of limited help). Even though I still can't logically understand how this hairpin works, I'm excited about it. It only took me about ten minutes to get it "working" the first time. And now I can style my hair into a French bun in less than half a minute. I love that it doesn't "pull" my hair, especially the top of my head!
