First some of the compartments fell apart when they were originally unpacked - the "linen" thread that was supposed to hold them together was not attached or tied properly. Others fell apart after some use. But my biggest complaint is that they moved the air like crap! That's the point of getting them, at least for us. Since there was no air conditioning in our church, we bought some handheld fans for people to use if they wanted. The hand fans are quiet, but the ballot has been found to fan itself better than these "fans." We bought other inexpensive (mostly paper or flimsy nylon/polyethylene fans) that held up MUCH better and worked MUCH better, although we never paid more than about a dollar each.
