They became adorable the moment we hung them on the wall, but the process of placing them will stay with us for a long time. Seems to be everything but it was easy for us to install and that's the only reason I took 2 stars off the rating. The shelves were well packed with all the necessary hardware including levelers. We used the included leveler to hang the first shelf but concluded that the leveler was inaccurate and far from ok. Visually, the shelf was clearly curved, but the included leveler continued to report it was straight. We got out our own leveler and had to drill another hole and anchor it in the wall to fix it. We no longer used the supplied leveler. Another problem we constantly ran into was attaching the shelves to the screws. There is a larger center hole in the back of the shelf to put them in and then go to the smaller one to secure it, but getting them into that larger center hole was a process! We often found that the devices attached to the back of the shelf were bent because we were trying to fasten the screw head. It took a very long time for each of them to pull out the bent gear before we could put it on. It was a real project! Now that the shelves are in place, they're adorable! They contain a lot more books and items for the nursery than I expected. I love the look of them and would be willing to buy them back and hang them up because they are beautiful and would complement any wall perfectly.
