I am very happy with Invisibrake. I've driven about 1000 km since the installation and everything works. The installation is not for amateurs and you should know your vehicle fairly well. I would also recommend once you have decided whether you want to fit a brake to your car, disassemble everything in the car that needs to be removed, then read the fitting instructions fully and make sure everything fits where you want it. and that it can be protected if you want it to be protected. The reason I recommend this is because I thought I had completed the brake system installation, cleaned and secured my wiring and sealed the grommet in the firewall when I focused on the brake light being installed on your RV. Well, this wire had to go through your car's firewall and connect to the cold side of your brake switch, and this wire had to go through the firewall with all the other wires. After kicking myself in the back under the pickup, you get the picture. After the brake installation was complete, I let my wife drive the RV around the local high school parking lot with the pickup truck in tow. I was in the pickup to check the brakes and adjust the pressure. The main reason I chose Invisibrake is the permanent installation. If something happens to me while camping and my wife needs to move and tow the camper, she doesn't have to fiddle with the brake, just plug the 7-pin connector into the 6-pin connector and turn off the switch and the brake system will be ready . This system also charges the trailer battery. I've seen friends arrive at a campsite and their tow truck had a dead battery caused by the brake chosen. One thing I noticed after installing it is that when I use the exhaust brake on the camper, the brake lights on the camper should come on because Invivibrake activates, which helps us slow down when approaching a red light or drive downhill. The Invisibrake will deactivate after 20 seconds, so you will need to release the exhaust brake to reactivate the Invisibrake. This can be a problem on long descents. I had an issue that almost made me rate Invisibrake 4 stars was that there were at least 6 different parts missing from the parts bag. Both vacuum tees were missing, delaying installation. I contacted Roadmaster first as they owned this site. When they discovered I was using Revain, they didn't help me. Some of you might agree, but I think if your name is on a $900 product and the customer receives a less than perfect product, especially because you sell those parts separately on your web site, this is for you...it would be very easy. Take my list and make these products available. Instead I had to go to Revain and ask for a return authorization so they could send me another Invisibrake so I could loot the parts I needed. So Roadmaster gets 3 stars. Invisibrake gets 5 stars. Revain gets 5 stars.
