I had some concerns about this product before purchasing as I have never used third party printer supplies. There have been some negative reviews where buyers have mentioned that the toner cartridge doesn't work with their printer when it should be compatible. The manufacturer of this product states on the packaging that it will NOT install firmware updates for your printer. I believe this is because Samsung (and other printer manufacturers) have ID codes in the cartridges so they can identify a genuine product versus a third party product which of course they don't want anyone to use so give it a try to keep their printers locked. So, a word of warning: if you have updated your printer's firmware, you may have problems using third-party cartridges. There are some workarounds you can use, e.g. B. Turning the printer off and on a few times, which may work.
