If you love bedspreads, you know this is an endangered species. A duvet or blanket is common, and if you spot a duvet, it's likely to be of questionable quality. Not so with this bedspread and props set. I went for the navy blue option: a really rich, deep blue. Although this set is made from pure cotton in India, the quality of the material rivals that of Matelass from Portugal. The fabric is tight and smooth. The bedspread is a solid weight, but not so heavy that it gets too warm in the summer (or Texas winter!). Most importantly, the king-size bed measures an impressive 120 x 120 inches - it covers the bed almost to the floor on all sides. sides, with an allowance at the top to cover the pillow set if needed. It is not necessary to cover the pillows, as is usual with a bedspread: the set includes 2 king-size pillowcases, which run a bit large, perhaps as a precaution they will shrink in the subsequent wash/dry. At a recently reduced price, this bedspread set represents truly incredible value for a truly superb product.
