Great price, easy assembly, strong enough and stable

Note that this wine rack is not expensive at all. You can spend more and get more capacity, fancier materials, and stronger construction. While this one is worth it, it offers great value for racks that hold thirty bottles of wine, as well as a glass tabletop that holds another twelve or more bottles of wine or, in my case, spirits and liquors. The rack accommodates the most common sizes and shapes of wine bottles from 375ml to 1.5L, although some Magnum, Champagne, Volnay and other rarer bottles may be too wide. The framework consists of a thin steel tube with a square cross-section. ; strong enough for the purpose and light weight yet designed to be mounted next to a wall where it will not be bumped. He keeps the bottles entrusted to him safe, but this isn't a table for the middle of a busy place where he's bound to run into people and pets. The glass is thin but apparently tempered (the design protects the edges) and definitely solid, like a table top for this counter. The illustrations in the manual could have been clearer, a problem common to many DIY products, but the design is pretty obvious and you can follow the instructions to have your rack ready in ten to twenty minutes. Considering the amount of wine or other bottled food this rack can hold, as well as its usable tabletop space, small footprint, and stability (with the caveat mentioned above), it offers compact and useful storage, especially good where space is at a premium.
