Nice backpack. The large compartment has only one zip compared to most backpacks which have 2 zips in both directions. Not a big problem but difficult to adapt to small children. The problem is that the zipper is difficult to use, often jams, and is not a smooth zipper. You need both hands, it takes a second each time to get it working properly. Unfavorable for the 3rd class. This week the U-handle that all backpacks have at the top broke. My daughter is so sad. She likes the look of the backpack but had trouble using it and now the handle she used to lift it has fallen off. I would not buy this backpack again nor would I advise anyone to buy it. It should just be easier for a child to use and last longer.
