Review on 🔥 15-80581 GM Genuine Parts Blower Motor with Wheel for Heating and Air Conditioning by Victor Glatzel

Bought an AC Delco product as the previous one lasted 14 years in my 2004 Trailblazer. Be wary of reviews made in recent years about additional mold on the underside of the fan impeller causing noise. I thought it was already fixed, but NO. The brand new fan came with additional trim and already "clicked" by simply turning the fan wheel by hand. Easy repair by removing the rubber pad and rotating any broken part of the mold to the tube recess to avoid damaging the blades; and carefully trim off the excess plastic burr with a sharp knife, rotate the fan to the next part of the mold, repeat. Had to cut off maybe 8 extra small pieces of molded plastic. Reinstall the gasket using some damp silicone to reset the tabs holding the gasket in place and installed in less than 10 minutes. The fan works great, is quiet (after rework) and blows a lot of air. Great product but you don't have to fix manufacturing defects in a premium OEM product.
