Review on Bluestone Down Feather Gusset Topper by Jesse Runninger

When this package arrived it was in BAD condition. The box is barely held in place with thin tape. And the brand is NOT generous as listed. I probably should have gone for an American made comforter, but I went with this one because of the price and baffle detailing. We just bought a new fancy foam/roller mattress (after a 15 year old sleep number didn't cut the mustard). Upon opening the sad packaging the duvet came in and removing it from the plastic bag, the duvet smelled TERRIBLE - like chemicals, kind of like charcoal. I wasn't sure if I could sleep on it. I hung it over the railing of our stairs for about five hours to air it out and poured Febreeze over it well. I also bought an organic duvet. In the evening of the same day they washed the bedspread and made the bed - and I have to say we like the feel of the bed. No trace of smell. Loft is good. A good four inches or so, and it rebounds when we stand up. I shake it up a bit when I make my bed. The duvet is under the sheet. So far we like to sleep on it.
