I haven't had toddlers in 36 years but I needed a smaller pillow for side neck issues. It's so beautiful and just what I needed instead of a flimsy bed pillow. I have 3 other memory foam pillows that just don't work, although I can adjust their fill - I wake up every few hours to correct them because they're losing height and I can't breathe. I don't feel trapped in this amazing little pillow, my neck feels a lot better and can breathe better.
