Review on SCT 9005 HB3 9005XS 10000LM LED Headlight Bulbs – Perfect Fit for High Beam Headlamp Light and Projector Headlamps – Replacement of 6500K Xenon White, 1 Pair by Adam Browning

Failed to load media. It seemed bright enough when first installed. Revain indicated that this would fit the 2019 Hyundai Elantra. It physically fit and even worked, but the Elantra uses a single 9005 bulb for low and high beam. Hyundai's silly design aside, the bulb was bright and I liked it when it was on. However, they didn't seem to interact well with Hyundai's low and high beam system, so I had to remove them to try and fix the problem. That's when I encountered the biggest problem with the design of these lamps, which is that once they're in place, they won't pop out. My understanding is that the mechanism holding them in place rotates, so the power of the LED can be adjusted if needed. However, it rotates in the same direction that you have to rotate to take it off, so you end up pulling the bulb out but leaving the mechanism in your bulb, making it impossible to put another bulb in its place. I had to take the whole bumper off (thanks for that Hyundai) so I could disassemble the headlight assembly and remove this thing. Just so I can test some halogens again because of the stupid low/high beam problem. Not an impressive way to waste a few hours of your time.
