I ordered these for closet shelving, Whitmor 6779-3044 Double Pole Closet, Silver. My daughters fight over the current closet which isn't that big so I thought these little boxes on this shelf would be great for my teenage daughter. They are black which suits their personality at the moment lol. They have a square shape and fit perfectly on the shelf. They are light but very strong for what we are going to use them for. I wanted to put socks, underwear, t-shirts etc in it, they hold heavy items, but you can't carry a box of heavy items without bending the cardboard in the material. No heavy school books, etc. Maybe read books. Nice material covers the boxes. Easily erased.
