.No matter what brand of shell you are looking for, there are always negative reviews. So I finally said what the heck and settled on this one. I just got it and think it's great for the money. The top cover is soft but smooth to the touch. Perfect for the stickers I've already put on, nah! reported who knows i have a macbook pro 13 late 2010 model and it fits perfectly. The instructions state that the top cover has three tabs (indicating that it must be placed at the top of the screen), however mine only has two on each end, but I had no trouble attaching it. anyway, and I've tried both ways. There's a small logo in one corner, but personally I wasn't sure if it would be readable with the lid closed or open, so I put a sticker on it. Rubber seals are attached to the bottom cover. and they include 4 extra. The appearance of artificial marble actually looks quite realistic. I chose this to see the Apple logo better and to make my stickers stand out. As it stands at the moment, I would order again
