Not polite! I do not recommend.
Rude! I do not recommend them for a child. I ended up gifting this pack to my 4 year old son as he doesn't mind heavier comforters. I used Fuchs to swaddle my newborn and he had some scratches from the comforter and I washed it and used fabric softener before applying it to him.
