Review on πŸ”Œ Stinger SPT55302 Multi GM Battery Terminal: Versatile Connections for 1/0, 4, and 8 Gauge Wires by Russ Freeman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Incredible value and flexibility when you are not 100% sure of the screw length you need.

This battery clip will stand out, especially if it's one of your first car audio models. The included screws are sold individually on car audio discount sites starting at $6 each. So if you don't know how long a screw will take for the battery connector (unless you're sure what to add later). I bought the Stinger brand for the fit/finish/beautiful logo/style and selected the appropriate distribution and base blocks (which I ended up not using as my installation was easier than expected although the links are provided below). Matte Chrome Stinger SHD21 HPM Series Power Distribution or Grounding Block I bought two but ended up only using the positive lead since you grounded the car audio system to the chassis somewhere in the cabin. I grounded the rear seat lock screw under the rear seat. Bought a 1/2" 6-gauge ring terminal from Autozone, twisted and threaded 1/3 of the 0-gauge wire through the connector, and interwoven the result with two other 1/3 lengths of 0-gauge wire. I then wrapped it around and glued it to the base of the ring connector under the ring and this is how you ground your car audio system to the seat belt bracket with an undersized ring connector (much better and cleaner than driver/passenger seat bolts). Learn from my fault, you don't need a second of those negative battery posts unless you like the look (I'll include a second one later, they just look freaking cool.)
