Review on Black Platinum Monster ROC Sport Over-Ear Headphones by Andrew Krishna

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not impressive good for headphones

Terrible. I'm a big audiophile and the reviews seem to be pretty good. Bought these and they feel very fragile and tough. These things keep slipping off my head and won't even spin. Sound quality is decent, quality is probably worth $60. Good mids and rebellious but poor bass. Very comfortable to wear (over cups) but when I turn my head the headphones don't adjust to the rotation of my head and they let noise through and it feels awkward. Everyone who has reviewed them said they have good bass and I love my bass but they didn't live up to my expectations. My 6 year old Sony in-ear headphones put them to shame. I don't mind, but I wish they were better. And I know my expectations were high, but I spent money on it. Monster has always been nice to me, their N-Tune was amazingly amazing along with their active noise canceling inspirations. If you are a casual music lover and have money, I say go for it. But as an audio-oriented audiophile who perceives everything related to products, I wouldn't spend more than $60 on it :/
