Comfy and Supportive

I love sleeping on my side and love when my pillow is soft yet supportive. I usually use regular polyfill pillows, but when they compress I have to stack two on top of each other to get the height and support I like. I used to buy a firm memory foam pillow that was too firm, but this shredded memory foam seems to fit the bill. My head sags a bit and it supports my neck but is soft enough to be comfortable. Adjusting by adding and removing foam helped me get the firmness I needed. I've been using this pillow for a little over a week and I'm very happy with this pillow. I was also impressed with the overall presentation. When I opened the box, my pillow was wrapped in plastic and had an open letter taped to cut the plastic. The pillow itself has a zipper so you can unzip it and add or remove foam, and the removable quilt is like an extra pillowcase. The extra foam is also packaged in a mini version of its own quilted pillowcase, which you could probably use as a mini travel pillow or something if you didn't want to tuck it inside a larger pillow. I definitely felt like I got my money's worth. The pillow initially has a chemical odor, which seems to be a common trait with most memory foam pillows that have been left hanging for days. To be honest if I left the pillow unbuttoned for two days as recommended to fluff and air it would probably go away quicker but I only left it on for 24 hours because I was itchy to use the pillow. It's not very strong (smells like faux carob chocolate, to be honest) and does fade over time, but someone with a sensitive nose should probably let the pillow air out for the recommended amount of time.
