I use these to align the corners of the cabinets I'm making for the barn. They are quite strong and make aligning the corners easier. You just have to alternately tighten the clamps so the plastic doesn't break. They are plastic so not as strong as steel. You can't close a big gap by pressing against a square. But they require a decent amount of effort without distorting. Very good for the price. The small set is tiny, so it's only good for things like picture frames or small drawers. The large set works great on four foot wide cabinets. Much easier than measuring and adjusting diagonals.
