You bend too much.
I really like these things because they are many and also because they come with a good travel case (with ventilation holes). The only problem is that they are SUPER brittle, so they flex too much when you're trying to get a good scratch. I've had other brands that were firmer so they worked better, while this one is too flexible to be as effective. I have to hold my finger higher on the handle to put a little more pressure on it, which is quite uncomfortable. The heads are also fairly thin so they cover less surface area. Not bad, just not great.
