I actually ordered two different covers to protect the damaged core pad. The idea is to double the pad to protect the repaired gap in the main pad. I chose this cover because it is knitted, has multiple patterns and additional elements for the nursery that can be ordered from the same pattern. This was to be used for an outer shell that could be removed and washed if it got dirty. It appears to be of good quality. I am happy with the pattern. Although there is room in Jersey to easily add additional toppings later if I decide to do so. I particularly liked the fabric gusset sewn into the inner fold. It seemed like a wise design choice for the natural stress point of these body pillows. It was a bit pricey and aside from the color flexibility I was equally and surprisingly happy with the cheaper pillow I ordered as an inner cover. Haven't slept on it yet, but can't imagine a problem. This is wonderful fabric.
