So this thing arrived after a few weeks and when it finally arrived I can't remember if it was a chair or a side table! It should have been more decorative anyway, so it doesn't really matter. This is a decorative element in a room with lime green accents and it was difficult to find many decent pieces in lime green. That's great. It's pretty short for a side table, but I can't imagine it's strong enough to sit on. This is roughly the same as the seat height of the chair, and the side table is usually about 30cm higher. But then again, I got it because of the color, so it doesn't really matter. It has an interesting secret compartment under the lid so it can be fun in the kids room where kids feel like hiding things in it. This would probably be the best size for kids and they could probably use it as a stool.
