Used the Performance MX for many years without a single problem or complaint. Because it was already worn out, I decided to ate it - the new MX Masters seemed uncomfortable, and I made a tragic mistake by buying the G604. This is probably the worst device I have bought in the last few years. And the problem is not in the hardware, the hardware is still decent, the build quality is on top - all the problems of the mouse are in its software, which makes it absolutely unusable. The main problem is the periodic drop in DPI. After setting the desired value in the program, the mouse periodically, every few hours, resets the set value to default - while, of course, slowing down the response and speed of movement - then restores it back. Even with normal PC work, this causes inconvenience and annoyance - now imagine that you bought a *gaming* mouse, and you have such a drop during the game. Represented? Congratulations on a successful purchase. The problem seems to be massive, a search on reddit finds many users with the same problem. Searching in English "g604 dpi random drop" will give a huge number of complaints. And, of course, you won’t be able to return this mouse under warranty - technically there are no problems with it at all, the hardware is absolutely serviceable, and no one cares about problems with drivers. Against the background of this problem, which makes the mouse completely unusable, all the rest fade. Ergonomics are inconvenient for people with a large brush - the side buttons dig into the finger. The new wireless receiver does not support multiple devices at the same time. I think this was the last logitech product for me.
