I have connective tissue disease and lower back pain due to herniated discs in my lower back. I bought this to try to prevent excessive forward bending and to try to prevent my discs from shrinking. Unfortunately, this did nothing to limit flexion or keep my back in its normal range of motion. I only wanted this for practice when I couldn't prevent the forward bend and was trying to avoid a larger support and was hoping that smaller support might help but no luck. Maybe it helps with other problems, but it didn't help me.
