Review on ๐Ÿš— DNA Motoring OEM-CONV-021: Factory Style Catalytic Converter Exhaust Pipes for 02-11 Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis/Town Car by Craig Mcdonald

Very good value for little work!

I have a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria P71 (police car). These catalytic converters fit exactly, except for one thing. The floating flanges that attach to the manifold are reversed, the right flange ring on the left and the left flange ring on the right. I found that out by reading other reviews. I wasn't happy, but I wasn't surprised. If you happen to know a welder or blacksmith, this can be fixed real quick. Cut the floating flanges in half to remove and weld on the correct side. For $299 plus tax, not bad for either side. The muffler shop asked for $800 each side for a total of $1600 for both sides. I made both sides for about $400 ($60 labor and 12 beers). The supplier can fix the problem now, but that's why they're so cheap. They seem to be working great and haven't had any issues or leaks. If you're not afraid to roll the dice to replace flanges, this seems like a no-brainer. Much luck! I have to say that I'm very happy with the product and the price, even if it took a bit of extra work.
