It's so damn fast and at less than $0.50 per GB it's a huge bargain! 128GB is more than enough for over 4000 L+RAW photos on my Canon. Unless you have multiple slots on your DSLR and you're shooting in RAW on a week-long European tour, I assure you there will be plenty of room. In addition, the writing speed and class 10 are very pleasant; You don't want to lose your data due to corruption and you don't want to sit around waiting for 128 gigabytes to be transferred to your computer slower than 40MB/s. Versatile, compact, fast, giant card, ideal for photography. I'm sure it will also serve as a flash card for music, documents, synthesizer project files and many other applications. I want to say one thing, if you are just starting to use your new camera, getting a small SD card might actually benefit you. The limited space will help you take better pictures. If, like me, you've been shooting with film cameras for a while and are limited to 24 or 36 frames, you don't need to. That's all I have to say.
