One side stopped working after 2 weeks

I bought two pairs of these headphones, one for a teenager and one for me. Within 2 weeks, both headphones lost sound in the right earpiece. The controls on the other side still worked, but no sound came through. Neither of us uses each other's headphones, so this seems more like a design flaw than a lack of personal use. Don't buy them even though the colors are beautiful.

Pros
