This is a great seat. The suction is strong and the seat feels solid and well built. My cat is 11-13 pounds and has had no problems. BUT be sure to consider the window railing (trim between the window panes). My rails are thick so the bottom 2 suction cups can't reach the glass to stick. I'm modifying it to make it work, but be aware you'll need either short rails or large plates that can hold all 4 suction cups in one. You can't see it very well in the photos, but the upper suction cups are glued on. window no problem. The bottom suction cups simply slide over the window and cannot fully touch the glass. The web connecting the bottom shells is a straight line, leaving no gap for the window slat.
