One star because these ports of my controller analogues are ruined. not because of poor fit or anything, but because they didn't clean the parts. I should have checked but my eyes are old and looking good but in the receiver where they are attached to the stick all the dirt from the editing was there and got into the middle of the analog sticks. The end user does not have to clean this, the parts have to be properly washed and prepared for sale. That issue aside, they're great. The only criticism is that the weight of the sticks can cause overcompensation when the joystick returns to zero. With more and more games that don't allow external applications to control analog curves and dead zones or calibration drift, there is a problem and a little recoil from the stick's weight can cause your character to veer wildly from the original direction or a other makes "jumps". situations. Perhaps thinning the back of the thumb or replacing the springs would help here, but I don't see a way to do this without hot air soldering and analog stick removal. That's why mine are no good now because they're full of alum shavings. WARNING again, check with a good cell phone camera or old school magnifying glass and good light. Clean them with a toothpick and make sure there is no dirt in the container. I'll upload photos later. Installation was easy after you no longer had to open the controller. Stupid Sony for using disposable clips on the shell. It will never match the OEM no matter how well you open it, but once you release the board they just slide off.
