I wanted cruelty-free teeth whitening / Not tested on animals so I was very happy to find that. My teeth are usually lightened with the "professional" whitening gel that the dentist sells. It works decently - not as dramatically as the more expensive types. I'm taking off a star because I emailed the company that makes this to ask if the gel works better with whitening lights, which they do well. I got no reply which was disappointing. I would buy the light if it made a significant difference in how well the gel whitened. I will try to contact them again. Due to the lack of cruelty, I will continue to use it. The price is great, so if you need to use more to get the results you want, it's ok.
