My kids love the retro look of this alarm clock holder. The injection molds are well made and the parts fit together well. The mold finish has a light texture that gives a matte finish that looks great. It comes with a screwdriver that will pick up any very small screws like latches. The top grip is in two pieces that screw onto the cable and I would have preferred it to be one piece. For my use, I chose to omit the knob. For performance, I've found that the vertical tilt helps the mic pick up my voice from close range, and the responses are a bit clearer as it moves up from the trigger.
