Review on ๐Ÿช‘ 550lbs Tested Cushioned Retractable Stool Upgraded for 2021 - Telescopic Portable Seat for Adults, Sturdy Foldable Chair for Camping Hiking, Compact Folding Stool by Greg Birchfield

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good stool, questionable weight limit

This stool works surprisingly well. Between the top and bottom discs is a series of locking rings with locking teeth - you push the top and bottom pieces apart, then twist to engage the locking teeth on the locking rings. The whole thing is very compact and light and about the same diameter as a large pie pan. It comes with a removable, thickly lined pillow and a drawstring storage bag. The description states that it has been tested with a static load of 550lbs and the recommended load is around 400lbs. I think this is overly generous and that the actual practical limit is probably much closer to half that. I have visible tension when sitting on it and I'm a little under the recommended weight limit. weight, you shouldn't feel it bunching at all. If you're around 400 pounds, you probably won't feel like the seat base is wide and soft enough to be comfortable for more than a few minutes. Anyway so I would give that a pass unless you are south of the ยฃ200-250 mark. In this case, it's actually a pretty decent folding stool.
