works for me in Ironing Accessories

Well I put this on the end of the board, side and back so the coil is vertical in the air; where it was in the back and forth of my iron or my hand because it sticks out a few inches in the air and can be knocked off easily. In a vertical position, a cable moving on a spinning pulley produces a clicking sound. The weighted clip hangs perfectly on the cord as a counterweight (like the one under my kitchen sink on my faucet cord. Weights perfect). Disrupt position and sound. So I attached it to the end of the ironing board, TOP AND BOTTOM. No noise, perfect counterbalance, nothing sticks out to catch on my arm, hand or cable. The clamp lays flat on the surface of my board. The coil is under the circuit board. The line easily slides back and forth inside, resting on the horseshoe shaped plastic section of the reel and along the board in the air. I love it. Try it on your board exactly as you see in the picture and it will work quietly, efficiently and inexpensively.
