We needed this sticky rug because our workshop is next to a carpeted room and we don't want to drag sawdust over it. The carpet is quite wide, which is very convenient for the hallway. The plastic protection is easy to remove, which allows for easy sticking to the floor (adhesive on both sides). It's as sticky as duct tape but you might not want to wear slippers to walk on it as my husband left one. Royal blue is attractive.
