Armrest does not fit on BMW e39
First of all, the armrest on the driver's side does not fit on BMW e39. Not enough space for installation. I thought for $12 I could cut out the retaining fitting that is causing the gap problem. After that it fits, but no longer holds over the wiper arm screw. That wouldn't be that much of a problem, so the hooks that are supposed to hook under the wiper arm plate keep slipping off after many tries, to make matters worse. Not even worth $12. Oh, and a piece broke off when tightened (twisted and broke) over the lever plate.
