I bought this set as a gift for my friend. I was annoyed that the corner of the box was crumpled and therefore didn't look very attractive as a gift. I was concerned that the cards inside might also be affected. The date was too short to reorder and the outer box that contained the cards was very thick. Fortunately, the cards inside were not damaged. The gift was a complete success. She loves maps and uses them almost every day. Given the strength of the cards, they're not very strong. Apparently they were "handled" by her friend and the cards were creased, broken at the corners and discolored where there were too many creases. This is a great deck and I'm considering getting one myself. With the understanding that you must not give them into rough hands ;)
