Used this strap twice for a small clutch to carry crossbody when traveling. I was walking through the airport and my clutch fell to the ground. The strap lay on the floor and appeared to have snapped. I reassembled the belt and continued on my way. The clutch fell to the ground again. Then I found that the piece of metal that goes through the belt hole doesn't stay in the hole. Thus, eventually it weakens and the band gradually falls through the loops and unravels. So now I have a useless spare tape. If you don't want to lose your valuables I wouldn't buy this harness.
