When I saw in the title that it was a thumb splint I assumed it would completely immobilize the thumb like a thumb splint is supposed to do. It's not like this. The thumb is still flexible. The thumb loops are not long enough to really immobilize the thumb as the Velcro digs into the thumb. If you're looking for a splint to wear at night when you don't use your arm that much, I think this will work. If you are looking for a splint that completely restricts thumb movement, this is not the splint unless you change it.
