They have good strong blades and are good for opening damn blister packs and snipping ends of plastic zip ties. I haven't needed a small screwdriver yet but I think it's a great idea and I'm sure I'll need one one day. However, the problem lies in the handles. I usually hold them close to the ends of the handles for better leverage, but the two ends of the handle that curve toward each other come together when the cut is made, pinching the skin of my hand between the ends, sometimes with violence . quite a bit of power. The first time this happened (after cutting the zip ties) I ended up with a bloody blister! Now I'm more careful with them, but I still feel pinched when I stop paying so much attention to them. You'll either need to add a stopper to keep those ends of the handles from coming together, or change the design entirely - maybe longer handles that don't curve towards each other would work better. Another (minor) annoyance is the lack of a loop. or a way to hang them from a hook - all my other shears and scissors are stored on hooks on the rail but I have to store them elsewhere. Maybe with a reminder that they're a little evil and craving human flesh.
